New Spells

Shatter Mind Blank
Evocation
granted to Nathaniel Graythorne as Sor 5
Components: V,S
Casting Time: 1 Standard Action
Range: Medium (100' + 10'/level)
Targets: One creature with a Mind Blank effect active
Duration: instantaneous
Save: No
Spell Resistance: Yes

Make a caster level check at +4 (d20+CL+4, maximum caster level 20) vs. a DC of 11+ the caster level of the mind blank effect. If you succeed, the mind blank ends.

Unluck, Mass
Transmutation (note: Unluck has been houseruled to Transmutation as well)
Sor/Wiz 7
Targets: Up to one creature per level, no two of which are more than 30' apart

This spell functions like Unluck, except that it effects multiple creatures.

Nate's Multilayer Ruse
Illusion (Figment/Glamer)
Sor/Wiz 9, Nathaniel Graythorne 8
Components: V,S
Casting Time: 1 Standard Action
Range: Long (400' + 40'/level)
Targets: Area up to four 10' cubes plus one 10' cube/level (S), plus one or more creatures, no two of which can be more than 30' apart
Duration: 1 hour/level
Save: Will partial or Will Negates; see text
Spell Resistance: No or Yes; see text

This spell creates the same effects as Veil, Hallucinatory Terrain, and Persistent Image, in both an "inner" and "outer" layer. Individuals, objects, or terrain segments may be disguised in either or both layers, and their disguises may differ between layers. Observers normally see, hear, and otherwise sense the outer layer of the spell.

True Seeing negates the visual effects of the outer layer of the spell, but provides a -2 circumstance penalty to Will saves to see through the inner layer. The saving throw DC against the outer layer is at -5 compared to spells at this level, while the saving throw DC against the inner layer is at +5 (the outer layer is more easily seen through, while the inner layer is more difficult to penetrate.)

Unwilling targets can negate the spell’s effect on them by making Will saves or with spell resistance. Those who interact with the subjects can attempt Will disbelief saves to see through the glamer (a single save against both layers; if the result is between the two, the subject sees past the outer layer, viewing the inner layer as real), but spell resistance doesn’t help.
